As another year draws to a close, I ask you to take a moment to reflect on the past twelve months. Three-hundred-sixty-five days of ups, downs, memories and challenges all come to a close tomorrow and a new chapter of our lives will begin on Tuesday. I don’t know about you all but 2012 was a pretty big year for me. I started up this blog (thank you readers!), lived in two different states, promised four more years of my life to Uncle Sam, got two business up and going, went through some struggles, took some L’s, laughed, cried, and as always learned a lot through it all. Rather than dwell on the negative things that happen throughout the year I always try to analyze them to prep myself for a better next year. As the old saying goes, “if you don’t learn from your past you’re doomed to repeat it”; who’d want that? What have you done this year? What would you like to do differently next year? Take a moment to count your blessings, remember the moments that took your breath away and rather than making a resolution that you may or may not keep, simply make a promise to yourself that this next year will be better. With that being said, I wish you all the best in 2013 and am totally looking forward to whatever the Lord and universe have in store for me! 🙂
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,900 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 5 years to get that many views.
