Since I read so much at work and even more for school I’m not one to partake in recreational reading. For this book however, I made an exception. Malice of The Clipse tells a very personal story of his life in Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind and Naked. Through crack sales, fame/fourtune, loss, sickness, health, richer and poorer Malice tells it all in this very touching story.
With a sudden onset of extreme illness Malice begins to turn his life over to Christ but later when the glitz and glam of Hollywood hits he gets sidetracked and becomes part of “the world”. As things begin to spiral desperately out of control Malice once again gives his life to God and promises not to turn back and ultimatley (as far as the book would tell anyway) did not.
Even if you are not a very religious person this is a great book! I truly hate reading but this has been my second time reading this book. I love The Clipse and it was really cool to get a more personal view into the life of one of my favorite rappers and even cooler to see that one person I really admire has struggles to and sometimes has trouble keeping in step with the Lord. If you’re going through a hard time, been through a hard time or just love hip-hop I highly reccomend this book. Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind and Naked is available through Amazon.com if you have a Kindle or a Kindle App on any mobile device or you can buy it from Mr. Re-Up Gang himself at the link below.
